six unimportant things that make me happy

my new blogger friend Una Bella Vita, whose blog has been a recent discovery of a treasure cove of wonderful pictures, tagged me.

the rules are, mention the person who nominated you, list 6 unimportant things that make you happy. tag 5 blogs. state the rules. notifty them with a teeny comment on their blog that they have been nominated. :D

1. (.)(.)

there's a street near my grandfather's house which at the start of the "-ber" months get lined with christmas lanterns called parol. motorists usually end up causing traffic because the lights, the designs mesmerize you as you pass.

the parol is to symbolize the star which guided the wise men to jesus. it is the tradition in Philippine culture to hang one in front of your house every christmas.

3. (.) (.)

it's like the natural order of things. we cut down trees and uproot plants in order to construct buildings. then as years pass, nature takes over once again and covers it with ivy.
